office xp for students and teachers

I bought the product installed on my son's computer and
he got a virus and the computer is a mess. I wanted to
reinstall it but it says I can't activate it because it
is already activated and it can only be used once.

Just curious if you ever got an answer to your question.
I have a simular problem. I installed Office xp for
students & teachers, my hard drive had to be replaced and
now I am trying to install all of my programs I had and
Office xp will not allow me to re install.
