Office XP : How do I change display language from German to English?

P

Paul

Howdy,

Whilst in Europe I got a copy of Office XP which I was
assured could be set up in English... perhaps it can be,
but it is currently all in German and I can't speak enough
German to work it out. I have got as far as the
spellchecker, dictionary and date formats being in
English, but how do I change the menus, or even just the
help files so I can read the rest?

Is there a quick cheat like tweating a registry setting
or something?

Many thanks or Danke,

Paul

Hi Paul,

The localized editions of MS Office do not have the
ability to change the menu or help file languages,
although you may be able to swap out the .CHM files
if you also have an English language edition.

Thanks Bob, but I don't have the .CMH files for Office XP
in English... are they very big?

Cheers,

Paul
