I'm not as worried about the hanging issue (no error
message, just starts to initialize and poops out - I've
even left it overnight and same-o same-o), as I am about
the fact that I can't install ANYthing on the PC now.
When I right click on the Start button and
select "explore" when the window comes up, instead of
having the hard drive icon next to the C Drive, there is a
CD icon with the XP Office icon there.
When I try to install anything else with a CD I get an
error message that I must quit the installation process
that is currently running.
Any ideas what to do other than blow away the hard drive
and start all over again?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can give me.
