Office XP installed over Office 2003, now Outlook is broken

Hello,

My Office XP versioin of Outlook won't work. My computer
came with a limited duration license for Office 2003.
When the license expired, I installed Office XP. Now my
Outlook does not function. When I open the application,
it operates as a limited browser. I cannot send or
receive.

I have unistalled it, and reinstalled it, same.

I have tried to run repair from the Office XP disk, same.

Any advice?

Did you uninstall Office 2003 first? If not, uninstall Office XP, then
uninstall Office 2003, then reinstall Office XP.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

I uninstalled Office 2003 after I had installed Office
XP. I am unable to reinstall the Office 2003 as I don't
have any disk, or method to recover the software. My
computer was purchased new with no software disks--all of
the programs were on the harddrive, and apparently there
is some way to recover the applications--nothing in there
about the limited office 2003 trial.
