Office xp intalation key

i bought an original office xp pro from a liquidators sale but it does not
come with a cd key is there any way i can get it. when i bought it the
liquidator assured me that i was purchasing the licence from a liquidated
company and i now own the licence?

You have bought a coaster; the licence consists of both the key & the cd
You cannot obtain a key withour proof of purchase from a legitimate source.
Its quite likely the licence / key was sold with PC it was installed on, so
the owner of that PC now has the licence

But you paid *something*. I wouldn't have given them a penny. I'm not into
supporting software thieves.
