Office XP issue accessed files through mapped drive

I have recently upgraded a network from a Server 2000 box to a SBS 2003 R2
box. Since then I have had a strange problem with some PCs running Office XP.
If I try and access files through drives mapped to server shares a popup
apears asking to sign in with a Windows Live ID. If I access the same shares
via the UNC path it works fine. Any ideas ?

Other PCs are running Office 2003 and work fine without this issue.
