Office XP license

First time install the office xp and system prompt to activate the license
key althought I have entered the license key during the installation.

Why still need to activate the license key for XP office ? does it mens that
if I install 100 pcs with xp office, I need to active 100 time of the license
key.

we are under the select customer.

Hi D.D.,

If you are using a MS Volume License key to create an Office Admin Point you will enter the product key there and won't need to
activate. If you are on the Select program then you should have a MS Office Volume License Key. Retail product key installs will
require activation. You'll find additional information on deploying MS Office XP in the Office XP Resource Kit,
