Hi!
mspview.exe is the default app for opening tiff files from outlook xp. We
are recieveing a lot of tiff images from one of our partners. The images are
compressed with CCITT3 (Group 3 Fax Encoding).
I've done some research with google and in KB and i've found out that
mspview.exe should support the TIFF 6 specs. These specs includes CCCIT3
hence the viewer shoud be able to handle it.
When i try to open the image i get the message:
Microsoft Office Document Imaging does not support this type of TIFF file
I've tried to open the image with Windows Picture and Fax viewer in windows
XP wich shows it fine..
I've also tried using Office2003's mspview.exe wich works fine..
the image also shows fine in Office 97 and Office 2000..
Anybody seen this before ?
Best Regards
