Office XP on Win 98

Does anyone know of a compatibility issue when office xp
is installed on windows 98 and you try and print from
microsoft word?

Word crashed then prints the file, then recovers. Very
strange - upgrading the os is not an option...

Hi Ryan,

It could be the printer driver that needs updating.
Office XP runs fine on Windows 98.

Do you get the same result if you use
File=>Print=>Print to File
with the same and a different printer model?

Delete all *.tmp;~$*.* files from Start=>Find/Search
before starting word to see if a leftover temp file
from a crash may be causing a problem.
