office Xp printing

I am trying to print a simple document using office XP. But its not sending
it to the printer. I can opne the same document in office 2000 and works
fine. I did however find a way to print in offic XP, but its a real hassle.
The only way it works is creating a header in the document. thisw is the only
way it prints.

the printer driver has been updated.
