Office XP pro & Office 2000 pro

Just want to find out anout compatability. The university
requires us to have Office 2000 pro installed. I have
Office XP pro. will file written on Office 2000 open on
XP and vics-versa.

Office XP will of course, open Office 2000 documents, and so far as I
know, Word XP, Excel XP, etc. have "97-2000" compatibility save modes.
If you want, I can send you a Word XP document and you can see if you
can open it (virus scanned, of course).

Yes. You may have to convert the file to a rich text
document. If you are going to go back and forth using
both products always save the file as a rich text
document. It is the best way to avoid conversion problems.
