Office XP Pro Update Fails after accepting License Agreement.

I am trying to perform an Office XP Professional Update
from the Microsoft Office Update website. After I accept
the license agreement a blank dialogue box opens and then
nothing happens. Per the MS Knowledgebase article #XXXX
I I un-registered the speech component of Office XP but
it still did not solve the problem. How do I re-register
this component and more importantly solve this Automatic
Office Update problem????? Thanks for any guidance.
