office xp pro v 2002 activation question

i purchased and i've installed office xp on 2 or 3 of my pcs without issue -
just tried on my newest one and got a message saying it was previously
activated/registered so could not do it again. is there a 3 or 4 pc limit?
is there a work around?

any input welcomed

I think if you read the EULA (End-User License Agreement), you'll find that
you have a license to install Office on a single machine. I believe that the
only exception is that you're also allowed to install it on a laptop in
addition to your desktop, provided you're not using both concurrently.

In other words, you were lucky you got away with installing it on more than
one machine.
