Office XP Product ID

Is there any utility wherein I use it to change the Office
product ID after deploying a ghost image on another PC?

I know there is a Sysprep utility but it works only for
Windows 2000 OS.

I would also be interested in this.

I have to support some laptop users but just a few and it's not
practical to spend lots of time doing all the prep work to setup
"administrative install points" for this, yet I don't want to have to
separately install Office XP on every machine either. I'd love to be
able to just change the serial number after copying the ghost image.
(we own retail copies of Office XP for each machine)

Hi Satish,

If you have a volume license, this shouldn't be required. If you don't have
a volume key, you can pass it using the PIDKEY property from Start/Run. For
example:

setup.exe PIDKEY=<pidkey>

There shouldn't be any spaces or dashes in the pidkey.

I hope that helps!
