Office XP Professional Activation

I was running Windows XP Home Edition and installed Windows Media Center.
When I installed Media Center it completely wiped out all my Office XP
Professional.
I reinstalled my Office XP Professional 2002 and when I attempted to
activate it,it
would not allow me to, telling me it was already installed on another
computer. It is installled on my desktop and I am trying to reinstall on the
laptop that I installed Media Center. I have the installation disk. How can I
get it to activate now that I am running Media Center. I can call or send you
the product key if necessary. The rep told me the product key is a legal copy
but no longer supported by Microsoft Customer Service. What can I do to
activate.
