Office XP Professional SP1 Update Failure

Have tried several times to apply Oxpsp1.exe to update my
Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage.

The consistent error message is Error 1328 where the
installer states:

"Error applying patch to file c:\Config.Msi\PT10F.tmp ..."

The tmp file name varies each time I try.

Have searched on Microsoft's Web site and cannot find any
instances of Error 1328.

Any ideas?
