I had a disk crash and had to reload all software. Everything seems to be
working fine except Office. Since the reinstallation when I open a word
document for the first time after a restart or power up a box opens on the
display with the message "Installing". If I close word and go to another
office program such as Excel
when I go back into word I get the same message. It doesn't happen with
Excel, Power Point or Access.
Also the "Print Screen" function does not work. When I use "Alt/PrtScn",
open a word document and select edit/past the last item I copied to the
clipboard is what is pasted.
MOS is Windows XP Professional, ver 2002 SP2.
AMD Athlon 64, 3200+ Processor, 2.01 GH, 2.00 GB of Ram.

Each application of the suite has a Detect and Repair feature accessed via the
Help menu. I'd try repairing Word first.

I'm not sure if this routine tweaks all apps in the suite when invoked or just
the one that's open, so you may want to try them all
