Office XP Registration

Hello All,

I have a valid/genuine copy of Office XP Pro that I was given from my
college. I have used it everytime I format my computer without any problems.
Today, after installing Office, I tried to open Word and was prompted for my
Product Key. I put it in again, it asked me to restart, and I did.

This kept happening.

I did a search and found this article in the Microsoft knowledgebase
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842548) explaining the EXACT error I was
having. I followed all of the steps and after I ran the Installer I tried to
open Word again and it started prompting me for my Product Key again.

I attempted to contact Microsoft but foudn they charged $49 for an email...

Does anyone have an idea of another workaround for this? If you read the
article you'll see what they have already offered up.

Thank you,
Francis
