Office XP Reinstall after hard drive failure.

Brian

I had to get a new hard drive for my computer. I had
Office XP installed on it prior to the Hard drive
failure. Now I have a new hard drive and I installed the
software again and it keeps prompting me for
registration. I already registered it for use on this
computer and it is showing up as already registered, and
that I need a new registration number. Is there anyway I
can get it to work with the old number? Or do I need to
somehow get a new one? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Brian,

If it's asking you to activate it use the
telephone activation method to speak to a technician.
When you change hardware the activation changes as well.
