Office XP SBE: How to DEACTIVATE a license?

S

Silvano Maffeis

Hi,

we purchased 8 Office XP Small Business Edition licenses.
Now I would like to give a ninth user access to the product
by removing a license from one of the existing users.

Is it enough to deinstall the software in order to free
up a license?

Thanks!
Silvano

Sorry, but what you wish to do is impossible. Office XP SBE was OEM only
and, once activated, is tied to that system forever and cannot be
removed. You will have to track down another licence for that ninth system.

Or buy Wordperfect Office 12 and run in Microsoft Word mode via Workspace
Manager; It does everything Office 2003 does and more but costs less than Office 2003; Also, no activation nonsense business!!
