office XP sbe security update

When i trie to update my office xp SBE.the process asked
for ".msi" files that were available only with office xp
Professional. It would not accept the .msi files from the
SBE and it wold not proceed with the update. Any
suggestions

Then you had office pro on this at one time the files where left behind. You
will need to completly remove office and reinstall. Deleting registry keys
and program file folders
