Hello folks,
In my infinite wisdom, I have created a slipstreamed SP2 + updates
version of Office XP Pro and pitched the original because I dreaded the
possibility of having to install the package + all service packs and updates
should I need to rebuild my machine. I have just attempted to install
the most recent security updates and the install procedure whines for the
proplus.msi file on the CD. When I insert my slipstreamed version, the
install from OfficeUpdate fails. What gives? Is there anyway to obtain the
most recent security updates from somewhere other than OfficeUpdate or a way
to fix this?
Thanks,
Dave
