office xp service pack 1

while I'm installing service pack1 for office XP (english version) on
windows 98 SE, I received this error message:

"error 1328. error applying patch to file c:\config.msi\pt7362.tmp. it has
probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be medified by this
patch. for more information contact you patch vendor"

Any suggestions?

Not a suggestion as such, just a comment that its
happening on a lot of peoples computers. im running XP
home sp1, and office XP, and there is always a failure
when installing sp1 for office XP, i think microsoft have
made something in windows and office xp, but windows is
the updated version of it.

I too am having similar problems with Office XP Product
updates. Although the file name is different, the problem
and the symptoms are the same.

If someone finds a fix for this, please email me.
