Does anyone know how to get Office XP Service Pack 3 installed silently? I
don't want any dialogs, specifically the 'Successful Install' dialog at the
end.
I've got the full file client .exe from the download site. I've been using
the /q:u and /q:a, but this doesn't prevent the 'successful install' dialog
at the end from popping up.
I've extracted the two .msp's and editted the ohotfix.ini to set the 'no
show success dialog' but when I run the ohotifix.exe (with .ini and .msp's in
the same folder) the install prompts me to install the original Office XP
CDs.
Am I missing a step after I extract the .msp's, ohotfix.exe, ohotfix.ini,
etc.?
I appreciate any help.
Thank you.
