Office XP Service Pack 3

I downloaded SP 3 during an automatic download a few days ago. Since then
Outlook Express will not let me open or send new emails. I can receive them
and I can view them in the auto preview window. I did a system restore back
to the point prior to download and my email now works. HoweverI am getting a
message to download this critical update and I am afraid the same thing will
happen. How do I update and still keep my email working?

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

I'll try that, however, I felt it was more related to SP3 than Outlook, based
on other emails. I found the choices of discussion groups daunting and
overwhelming, frankly. Hopefully, the other discussion group will be more
helpful. Thankyou.
