Office XP shared printer problem

Each time I try to print a document I fail and get the
following problem:
Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current
printer setup.
Try one or more of the following:
*check the printer by printing a test page from Windows.
*Make sure the printer is turned on and online.
*reinstall the printer driver.
I checked the printer by a test page in another computer
opposite mine. It works fine in my colleague's computer
I made sure the printer was turned on.
Do I have to reinstall the driver as it is already
installed in my computer?
