Office Xp Small Business Edition & No Power Point

Hello I purchased a Mobo., Proc., and Ram from Fry's and
this qualified me to purchase an oem version of Office Xp
SBE so I did.

I didn't know anything of powerpoint till watching TechTv
the other day, so i went to use it and it isn't here in
my office selection. Does this Office Xp SBE OEM come
with PowerPoint and Front Page?
If so where is it? I have done a fresh install and it's
all updated and everything. I have looked high and low on
the CD, I know the install is full and good, I have a
High Performance rig. I also installed everything form
the Media CD as well, the one that came with this Office
XP.

I suggest you proceed to the nearest optician immediately! It states exactly
what it contains on the box! If you can't read a box...then no wonder you're
having problems!

No Powerpoint and FrontPage do not come with the Small Business Edition. Neither does Access.

OEM software such as what he bought from Fry's does not come in a retail
package, just the CD marked OEM.

Thank You George Hester! One more question? Can I buy the
upgrade version of Office 2003 Pro. and it will work with
this version of office? If so, Will I have Powerpoint and
Frontpage after the install? Thanks Again.


Ps There was only a white box with basic Microsoft
Labeling, it did not list the features, I wasn't in the
market for it, So I chose the office (By Name ...Ie SBE)
that suited me, I have only used it for basic things
since i got, Now i seen how usefull PP can be so I tried
to use it.

No. You can upgrade to Microsoft Office 2003 Pro but you really should not leave Microsoft Office any lesser version on the system. I believe Microsoft Office 2003 Professional will have all that you need.

Oh Microsoft Office 2003 does give you the oppotuinity to leave previous versions of Office on the system. But it doesn't tell you what will be disabled if you do. So take my advice and do not do that.

Nothing is disabled in previous versions of Office if you have
multiple versions installed.
