Office XP Small Business

I have two installs of this program (SP-2). One is on a
WIN98 2nd edition O/S the other on Windows 2000 O/S.

On the Windows 2000 system Word opens Wordperfect files
immediately. On the Windows 98 installation it will not -
reporting that the converter is older than what is
required.

Since the installs are from identical Small office CDs
and the setup procedure was indentical, I am not able to
determine the problem.

Please help if you can.
