Office XP SP3 download-installation failure

Downloaded the full sp3 update so wouldn't need the disc
(even though I do have it)- However it still asks for the
disc - fine - then it maintains that it cannot find the
correct file - PRO.MSI - I have searched my copy of Office
and no luck it is not there. I have tried in vain to find
this file through the Microsoft help pages - any
suggestions out there???

Hi Vic,

Pro.MSI for MS Office XP would be an 'enterprise' (volume license)
edition. If it was preinstalled on your PC and your CD you have
includes a different .MSI file then it won't match the current install.
You can contact the PC supplier for a matching CD to the install
or you can backup your files, uninstall Office XP, restart the PC
and install from the CD you do have (check for ProRET.MSI on the CD)
then update as one approach.
