Dummy that I am, I lost my CD-ROM for this software. I
have it on my desktop, and just bought a Laptop that I
would like to use it on as well. Any suggestions on what
to do other than buy another copy?
thanks.

Yes.
Go to Staples, Circuit City etc.
Go to your preferred online vendor.
Buy an other copy.
The EULA for Office XP ST Edition limits {among other limits} the
installation to one computer.

S and T may only be installed on ONE computer at a time, IF you want 2
installs you will need 2 copies, well 2 LICENSES to be exact. So if you
buy another copy you can do that second install.

Hi Walt,

MS Office XP Student and Teachers Edition is limited
to one computer per license. The Office 2003 edition
will allow family use.

For replacement CDs you can contact microsoft at the
phone numbers on http://microsoft.com/worldwide
(800-360-7561 in the U.S.)

You may just want to wait another month and purchase Office 2003 Students
and Teachers. The box has a sticker in the upper left that says you can use
it on up to 3 home PCs so it seems they've changed the license. Do a search
on amzon.com for it and it's there.
