Office XP Standard with Access 97 installed

I have been told that you can run Office XP Standard with
Access 97 and they will work without any problems. I know
in the past that mixing versions of Office was a recipe
for a disaster as they did not work together.

Has this been changed and you can now mix and match these
products?
