Office XP & Term Services W2K3

S

Skee Leonard

I have setup terminal services and licensing for such. Now
I have installed Office XP on the box via add/remove
programs. The administrator group can run the applications
just fine, but regular users cannot. I see error messages
like the following in event viewer when they attempt to
launch Office apps:
Faulting application rundll32.exe, version 5.2.3790.0,
faulting module mso.dll, version 10.0.2625.0, fault
address 0x00062bb8.
Any help appreciated. I have searched these groups and the
KB but can't find out what more I need to do to get office
working for my users in term services.

Hi Skee,

It sounds like you may have a permissions issue,
but you may want to check these resources,
including the links to the Office XP Resource Kit
