Office XP to be updated to SP3 with patches

We are having a user base of about 200 employees in
different parts of the country. Most of them are running
WIN2K Pro with Office XP. The Office XP was installed from
a share on the servers. Now I have been assigned the task
of upgrading the workstations to SP2 and to see that all
patches are applied to them. Is there any suggestions
someone can give to make my job easy for now and in the
future.
