Office XP Track Document Changes

I know in OfficeXP, when you make changes on a document,
the recipient can see/track the changes. Is this done
across the board on Word or can I do so on a document by
document basis? That is to say, I only want certain
documents to have this feature enabled and others
disabled, so that documents to clients do not see/track
the changes on some documents.

Any information or advice on this is very much appreciated.

The track changes option is a toggle on/off option under Tools->Track
Changes. You can change this on your open document by going to the toolbar
at the bottom and click on the bolded Trk.
