Office xp, unable to down load xp 3 service pack

Unable to down load Office xp 3 service pack after being on line for 10
hours. It started haveing been blown out of Word again, and it tells me to
down load Office XP service pack 3, I have spent more than 8 hours on line.
Each time it blows me out saying it might be not enough disc space, Not so!
Norton running, so I've tried with out Norton, same result! and the last
might be the MS server having problems!
Any suggestions you can advise would be good.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Fedup asked:
