Office XP uninstall

Hi,

I cannot uninstall office xp professional.
In add/remove programs it becomes with a message
like "Installer terminated prematurely", then forwards
with another message "The I/O operation has been aborted
because of either a thread exit or an application request."

Please, I need help to remove office...
