Office XP update => 1402 error, even with the appropriate rights

Hi,

i'm desperatly trying to update my Word 2002 and i get a 1402 error on
the following key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OptionalComponents\IMAIL

I've tried :
- Microsoft KB : only gives clues for W98 and Me, but I use XP and I
have all the rights on the key (same result from admin session).
- I've also tried to switch off NAV Autoprotect and NAV Office Plugin.
- Uninstall : I can't uninstall Word 2002 for the same reason !

Any ideas ?
