Office XP updates

I have A compaq Presario 1500 with legel Office XP loaded
by Compaq and want Office XP updates. Microsoft wants XP
Office original CD's installed before updates can be
downloaded. Compaq will NOT supply disks. What do I do??

Hi Joe,

OEM's, such as Compaq are required to provide the
original CD with the computers when providing MS Office.
If they will not, note the name of the support tech
at Compaq and the log/incident number and contact
MS support.
