Office XP vs. Office Professional 2003

I will be taking a Computer Applications & Office Management (COMAP 101). The instructor advised the students to get Office XP Professional but Office 2003 Professional will do but does not exactly correspond with our text books. What is the difference between Office XP and Office 2003 Pro?

Microsoft Outlook 2003, for example, have junk folder, this mean that it can
recognize spam, and put it in the junk folder. Then word and excel have few
more functions... Basically, anything what Office XP can, Office 2003 can do
too, and little more...

AFAIK, you can purchase Access 2-003 separately.
However, you should get the Academic version of Office 2003 Pro. Current
price is $151.63 at www.provantage.com/pr_82892.htm, which is less than what
you'd pay for the retail Access alone.

Thank you Stefan...I currently have MS Office Student and Teacher Edition
2003 which does not have Access 2003. I need to have Access 2003 for my
COMAP 101 class. I have not seen any Access 2003 for sale by itself.
Please advise. Thanks again.
