powerpoint? All the stand alone powerpoint programs cost
as much as the office xp pro

Suggestions??

If you don't have powerpoint at all, you will have to
purchase the powerpoint software. You can get Powerpoint
for XP at Staples for about $219.00. The upgrade is
about $109.00. The student and teachers version of
microsoft office is somewhere around $119.00. It
contains powerpoint, word, excel, and outlook but not
access. The only problem is the programs are not
upgradable and it is, I'm told very basic. I purchased
office xp professional today at Staples for about $439.
Other places, office depot, best buy, circuit city wanted
anywhere from $499.00 to $579.00. Hope this helps.

Hi.
The difference between Office xp and Office xp pro is that Office xp pro
has Access; AFAIK (As Far As I Know), Office xp contains PowerPoint.

Or get OpenOffice.org at http://www.openoffice.org , if you think you
can't shell out enough money for Office xp.

Sorry for the second post; the mail client thought that the
(e-mail address removed) address could not be an identified domain...

Does Open Office contain a mail and collaboration client?
