I have office XP installed and untill rencently was able
to update it automatically from the mocrosoft website.
Rencently I am getting an error message (The Office
Update site is currently experiencing some technical
difficulties and is unable to check for updates.) I know
there is nothing wrong with the site as other computers
on my network have no problems. Problems started after I
agreed to the installation of a microsoft signed explorer
plug-in during the update process. Is it possible to
remove this explorer plug-in? perhaps it is corrupted? I
have tried reinstalling office to no effect!
