Office XP - word documents

When I try to do a "save as" on a document, the screen
locks up, the top and bottom of the screen flash on and
off, and nothing more can be done at that point. All
that is left to do is to do an end task.

None of my documents can be recopied by using "save as".
How do I solve this problem.

The Save As dialog is opening behind your document window and waiting for
input from you. This is usually caused by a conflict with the Norton Office
Plug-in. See "Title Bars Flash, Word Becomes Unresponsive, or Word Cannot
