Office XP (Word) File Permission when saving files to NT

Does anyone now of any issues regarding Office XP (Word)
and saving file to an NT Server. Whenever I create a file
in Word and save it to an NT server and then try to open
it back up to edit it and then save, I get an error
message regarding file permission. I check with my Admin
and for some reason he's not able to delete the file or
make edits to it. Sure I can save the file under a
different name but then I will not be able to edit that
file. Help...

sounds like you don't have "modify" NTFS permissions on the file is my first
response.

please note that you have posted this in the wrong forum; this is a forum
for Micrsoft Outlook.

if my answer didn't helped you, you could use the Word forum if you believe
this error is caused by Word or use a server forum if you believe this error
is caused the server.
