I configure my email accounts to default on Outlook.

My wife has her's configured to default as Outlook Express.

Whenever I change mine to Outlook, her account is changed to Outlook too. Then when she changes hers back to Outlook Express, my is also changed to default on this too.

We are both configured as Administrators. Can anyone explain this? Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?

Thanks.

There can only be one default MAPI client on Windows. If you want to have a
different default e-mail client for each user, you need to configure Windows
logon profiles so that it can be set per Windows session.
