Go with Office 2003. XP is older and will go out of "support" sooner
(costing you money to upgrade sooner). There are no major differences,
but there is no mileage worrying about the differences.
I've recently upgraded from "XP" to "2003" and like the little extra
features that 2003 has...the GUI is a little bit slicker...

2003 benefits (other that in chart metioned above):
Outlook Contacts have a better layout for customization (more empty space in
each contact card).
Also, Contacts allow for pictures of your contacts.
