Office XP

Hi I've just purchased a new laptop and recently installed Microsoft Office
XP fot students and teachers. It installed OK and I activated online. The
programme works ok but it won't let me print my documents. My icons have a
blue sqare over them with a cross and some icons have green square over them
with a tick, the ones with a tick are which I copied from my other computer
and I can print. I've tried to uninstall Office XP but I get an error
message saying I have not got administrator rights. Please help (confused)

Is this a Vista PC?
Where are docs located that you cannot print?
Where are you seeing these icons?

Yes it's a Vista home premium and the icons and docs are located in my
documents

Vista has a Documents folder, not 'My....' I assume you mean that
I see no such described icons, in any folder view. (maybe a question for a
Vista group?)
And if you insert the OfficeXP cd, after a few secs does it not present you
with an option to repair?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Thanks for your help. I don't what I've
done but they seem to be Ok now. When I insert the CD it doesn't ask to
repair it just opens the folders.
