does one note work with offiice Xp? All functions or just limited?

No functions. OneNote works like a standalone program with Office XP.
All of the office integrations require Office 2003.

You would need to purchase Office 2003 itself, with which you'll get the
product key.

Will there be a justnote for office xp? So I do need to buy a full version at
full price even though i own a newer version of office. That doesn't sound
fair....

Since you own Office XP, you qualify for an upgrade to Office 2003 (which is
lower cost). If you are a student or teacher, or have a student or teacher in
your household, consider purchasing the Office 2003 Student and Teacher
addition at an even lower price.

OneNote is not included in any of the versions of Office 2003. It is a
standalone application, simliar to Visio, Project, etc. As noted, there are a
few features in OneNote 2003 (such as emailing directly from OneNote) that
work only with Office 2003.

You don't have a newer version, Pete. The Office XP version is 2002, while
Office 2003 is, um, 2003. Lori's got the good information for you in
her post.
