OFFICE1.CAB file is corrupt

When Installing Office XP I get error stating the my
OFFICE1.CAB file is corrupt. I can install Outlook,
Excel, and Powerpoint with no errors if I install them
each sepratley. If I try to do a bulk install or Install
Word by it self, I get the OFFICE1.CAB file is corrupt.
My disk will install OFFICE XP on any other computer but
mine without the error.

Have you tried copying the installation CD to your hard drive and running
setup from there? If your computer fails to copy the CD across because it
finds CAB1 corrupt, then I suggest it is time for a new CD drive.
