Office2000 Office Assistant causes computer to freeze

When I choose Show Office Assistant, the yellow ballon
begins to open then freezes the entire computer. I can
not CTRL+ALT+DEL and must restart the computer to begin
working.

The only posting I saw says that the Office2000 disk2
install might not have the Office Assistant installed to
the disk. I checked and my installation is to the hard
drive.

Does anyone know what might cause this problem?

Hi Brad,

See if the problem occurs when you start Windows in Safe Mode. If it
doesn't then it could be due to an incorrect/corrupt graphics driver.
