Office2000 PhotoEditor: Change Default Printer

In Photo Editor (Office2000), I get the wrong default printer
and cannot change it.

Some days ago I was told by Bob Buckland (thanx again!) to apply
the latest service packs. Meanwhile I installed SR-1a plus the latest
service pack 'office2000-kb835220-client-enu.exe', but no change as
to the problem with Photo Editor. Is this the wrong patch ?

Hint much appreciated.

Don't know if this will do it but worth a try. Uninstall the "wrong"
default printer, restart, run PE and get it on the correct "default"
printer, then reinstall the printer you removed. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply. The problem is this "wrong" printer
is the printer of a fax program which came with the box.
I'm afraid I don't have the software.

And is this "fax printer" a useful item or just more baggage? If you
don't have the software and don't use the program, I don't see an issue.

It is a useful item. I want to get rid of it only in the
Photo Editor print dialog.
